I am learning to sit and some other basic manners that my foster mom is trying to teach me. I have a funny kangaroo type bounce I like to do when greeting people, but not everyone sees the magic in it that I do.

I may need some support with remembering to go potty outside, but I know what to do when I get out there! I would be happiest in a fence yard since I like to show off my knot tying skills with the cable tie out and I can give Harry Houdini a run for his money getting out of a harness:) I would be ideal with older kids because I'm still learning how to stay down on my 4 feet. I might follow you around a lot and maybe try to steal your clothes but it's only because I want to be near you.

The good news is, I am learning how to channel my energy and I calm down relatively easily to have snuggle and movie time. I love to be outside and can show you all my acrobatic tricks! I like to play with my foster dog siblings, and even though they are bigger than me, my foster mom says I give them a run for their money and sometimes I forget that I am the new dog on the block. Before my foster mom took me in a few weeks ago, I had been in a local boarding kennel for the last 5 months (even for Christmas and Easter!) so I have lots of energy to burn. I am a super sweet, yet pretty active girl with a lot of energy to burn and love to give. I'm approximately 2 years old and only 30# (I know I look bigger in my pictures, but I really am a mid sized girl!) We aren't sure what my mix is, but I'm probably part mountian cur, maybe a hint of sight hound like a whippet, and then we aren't sure from there! One thing is certain, though, I desperately need a family of my own! The nice people at All Creatures saw something special in me and knew they couldn't let that be my fate (thank goodness!) Enough of that though, since this is were my story changes, hopefully.

In case you don't remember, I came up from Kentucky just before Christmas since my shelter was closing and I was going to be euthanized.
